So if it's twin boys you have no choice but to name them the sons of thunder James and John, or if you want to get crazy Walker and Texas Ranger!
Really Deryck James Murray has a great ring it.

Oh yeah, no girl names you're having a boy this time!

It does get really easy to just let things go that are happening around the world because we are not directly effected by it. Unfortunately, we ARE directly effecting them because we live in a global economy. Just look at how the world was shaken when we first entered the Recession.
This morning some of my friends discussed how the American Government that is not 100% Democracy nor 100% Republic. We are in a hybrid somewhere between. So our role as a citizen can be hazy as far as how involved we can actually be. Either way, the Bible is clear that we must support [pray for] who is currently in power, and adhere to the laws of the land.

Took the family to the Holocaust museum in Skokie this summer. Well worth the trip. Has me thinking about what my role as a Christian is not just with my government, but other governments. For example, many German Christians were probably scared to death, but yet Christians in the US during Hitler's reign probably could have done more to help as well. For a more modern day example: Take China. Obviously i'm in no position to speak to them about human rights! Or to effect change over there. So is my role to pray about it? Not buy items made in China? Contact congressman about what how I feel they should vote on issues regarding China? Etc. Etc. I realize there is no 'one' answer, but feel that my temptation is to say- 'hey i'm not there, I can't do anything, but i'll pray about in my nice air conditioned home before falling asleep in my king size bed (which actually seems pretty small with 3 kids and a pregnant wife in it!) and that will fulfill my 'Christian' duties.' Just looking for other thoughts on it.

Congrats! Well if you have boy twins I will have to say Justin and James since those are the names of my boys. And you can see how awesome a kid Justin is! How about Newton, Lincoln, Khan since those are the ones that were in the movie with Ameila (Night at the Museum II). Since you live in the Chicago area, Hotdog and Beef are great names too. Maybe Cubbie. Oh Wrigley! I've always liked Amber. But since Mick is Mick you can name the little one Jager. So you'll have Mick Jager! Should I go on?
