You may be wondering who this blog is all about.  Maybe you all ready know who I am.  Either way, this page exists so that you can know me a little better.

what does mick like?
A cup of coffee always seems palatable.  Especially that which is brewed in a french press with freshly ground beans.  Listening to records is always enjoyable as well.  A certain mystique is found in listening to this old way of life.  As you may have found out by my entries, I am also seeking after God’s heart.  Jesus is not only Lord of my life, but also someone that I want to get to know better and be more like.

what does mick do?
Currently working with a new church in Joliet, IL has filled most of my time.  Leading creative arts and organizing community groups are just part of my responsibilities.  With that being said, playing guitar on a regular basis comes as part of the job.  I love it.

why does mick blog?
This blog has a general religious theme.  My intent is to discuss things that I am both learning on this faith journey, as well as my thoughts on different events happening in our culture.
