Many people know that I am major coffee drinker. What most people do not know is that I have an equal appreciation for tea. In fact, I think camellia sinensis (the plant tea leaves come from) is much more fascinating. Did you know white, green, black, and oolong tea all come from this one plant? Did you know there are thousands of ways to mix tea with other ingredients? Did you know people have been killed over this delicious drink?
Today I am interested not because of some historical fact, but because my throat has not been in the greatest condition due to a cold (thanks Matt). I am so fascinated because this drink has the ability to soothe the throat. It amazes me that God created something that not only tastes so wonderful, but brings so many benefits to the body.
Have you ever realized all the places God can be honored? While I drink this tea I can praise Him for such a wonderful gift. Imagine how our life would change if we gave God credit for all the little things in life we appreciate. What kind of impact would that make on our life?

Thanks for the input, Kamella. I do find it interesting that your name and Camellia are very similar. Maybe your ancestors were plants…
