The past entries have looked at several things about the Jehovah’s Witnesses. This is just a final look at why the JW’s are considered a cult and not a denomination.
First, Christianity says that Jesus is God. He came to save us from our sins by dying on a cross, and then resurrection three days later. The JW’s do not believe Jesus is God, but rather the archangel Michael. Nor do they believe he resurrected, but rather went back to Heaven to be an angel.
JW’s only use the New World Translation, which is a bad translation from the Greek. You do not see any Greek scholars in the JW’s because they would realize how bad of a translation this truly is.
JW’s also do not believe in Hell. They believe that we all get to go to Heaven, and those who do not get to go on the first time get a second chance.
What about their claiming 144,000 people going to heaven (Revelation 7:4)? Isn’t there more? They have answered this question by saying that the first 144,000 get to go to Heaven, and everyone else (the second flock) gets a paradise on Earth. Oddly enough, the Mormons use this same verse (John 10:16) when referring to Jesus come to the Americas.
Bottom line as to why the JW’s are a cult; they do not believe Jesus is God yet claim to be Christian.

Pray to GOD that He may open the eyes of their understanding & that they may seek the Truth.
If Jehovah Witness gets saved then they will surely go to Heaven & If they Reject GOD who is JESUS their end would be destructable & horrible.
Pray for them…

oh yes they are acult indeed. but the thing is you cant talk to them they dont hear you. these people are very controling people. they dont know when to stop. most of them are very ignerant about the bible.my husbands parents are jws. but he is not needless to say i dont much get along with them at all. they dont like me because i am a southern baptist. my grandpa was an old time preacher. he was a good man. anyway they see me as the one that took there son away. we met 14 years ago. he knew i was a different religion than his family. i introduced him to the lord and he got saved.he tells me that i saved him from the devil but i said no god saved you sweetie. anywaynon the less his parents were not happy. so my point in the matter being is yes this is a cult if is wasnt htey wouldnt have a problem with there son bein born again and having his sins washed away. it should be one of the most wonderful days of your life. we just dont know how to deal with them anymore we have been married for 14 years and for some reason they have started callin us. they say they want to do things different but really what does that mean?my husband let them know real quick that our life and our religion will never change . but honestly my daughter doesnt even like them because of what they are,and how i have been treated by them. does any one know what they may be up to by calling from time to time? jws are always up to no good.
